Hello Everyone!
I am very excited about the changes I'm making to my website. My plan is to make it a more organic thing, a work in progress, and a better reflection of who I actually am as an artist.
I want to thank you for taking the time to visit this site and look at my work. I would love to hear from you! What do you think of the site, the art, or anything? Drop me a line if you get a chance and please do sign up for my mailing list.
For me, each painting tells a story, and is just one tiny splice from the filmstrip of my life. I am drawn to intense, dramatic color and bulls-eye-like, minimal compositions. I want you to be sucked into the painting, and then when you get there, I want you to want to stay there!
My work explores a rich variety of subjects. This variety is an overview of the things that interest me and include a range from traditional still life and landscape paintings to colorful, quirky portraits of dogs, cats and people. I am most widely known for my Palm tree paintings, a body of work that continues to interest and inspire me.
You are most likely visiting this site because you saw my work at one of the many Art Festivals throughout the country where I exhibit my work. I have been a traveling art festival artist for fifteen years now and I truly feel like this is what I was meant to be doing. I love traveling to new places, and meeting other artists and people along the way. I especially love meeting the people who respond to my work. My fellow traveler and partner in crime Paul Moriondo shares this love with me.
Because of Art Festivals, people from all over the world have discovered and enjoyed my work; my wish is simply to be allowed to continue doing what I'm doing for as long as I'm physically able, and to try to do some good while I'm at it.
